Unleashed Hotdogs is a Nanaimo‑born food truck and catering outfit that elevates the humble street dog with chef‑driven creativity. Founded in 2025 by chef‑owner Shawn Williams, the rolling kitchen roams Vancouver Island’s festivals, markets, and ball games, doling out playful “breed” specials such as the Shiba Inu layered with pickled daikon, unagi sauce, and chili aioli, or the German Shepherd bratwurst simmered in ale and crowned with sauerkraut and crispy onions. The menu is built on scratch‑made toppings and locally sourced ingredients, and the team encourages patrons to bring their own pups for a treat, reinforcing the brand’s tongue‑in‑cheek canine theme. Regular stops at downtown plazas and Night Owls baseball games, plus an energetic social‑media presence, have cultivated a devoted following that lines up for every new creation. Unleashed Hotdogs pairs gourmet quality with a playful spirit, making each order a celebration in a bun.
The Problem
Unleashed Hotdogs had built a loyal following at festivals and curbside pop‑ups, but its branding and online presence had not kept pace. The existing logo was dated and inconsistent across the truck, packaging, and social media. Customers searching for the menu, prices, or daily locations landed on a single static page that offered little more than a phone number, and updating that page required outside help. Without a clear visual identity or a mobile‑friendly site showcasing the full menu, Unleashed missed countless chances to convert hungry browsers into repeat buyers.
Our Solution
We kicked off the project by distilling the playful, street‑food spirit of Unleashed into a bold new logo that is versatile enough for truck wraps, merchandise, and social posts. Next, we designed and built a responsive website anchored by a dynamic menu that features crisp photos, allergen tags, and easy‑to‑edit pricing fields. A simple content management system lets the team add limited‑time specials or change operating hours in minutes, while built‑in location updates help fans track the truck in real time. Together, the refreshed logo and fully featured website turn every online visit into an appetizing invitation to grab a dog on the spot and keep coming back for more.
